【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardistitled“FragmentIdentificationofMPEGResources”andspecifiesanormativesyntaxforURIFragmentIdentifierstobeusedforaddressingpartsofanyresourcewhoseInternetMediaTypeisoneof:-audio/mpeg[RFC3003];-video/mpeg[RFC2045,RFC2046];-video/mp4[RFC4337];-audio/mp4[RFC4337];-application/mp4[RFC4337].MPEGURIFragmentIdentifierschemesoffercomprehensiveandflexiblemechanismsforaddressingfragmentsofaudiovisualcontent.Therefore,theirusemaypotentiallybeextendedtootheraudiovisualInternetMediatypes.SuchURIFragmentIdentifiersarecomplianttothegenericsyntaxforURIsdefinedbyIETFRFC3986andthereforecanbeusedafterthe“#”characterinaURI.Whereappropriate,suchFragmentIdentifierscanalsobeusedinIRIsasspecifiedbyIETFRFC3987.ThesyntaxforURIFragmentIdentifiersdefinedinthisspecificationisbasedontheW3CXPointerFrameworkRecommendationandaddstheabilitytoaddress:-temporal,spatialandspatiotemporallocationsofaresource;-logicalunitsofaresourceaccordingtoagivenLogicalModel;-byterangesofaresource;-itemsorTracksofanISOBaseMediaFile;-aportionofavideothroughtheuseofaMask.1.2OrganizationofthisdocumentThisInternationalStandardsprovidesfirstlyasetofgenericprinciplesforaddressingfragmentsofmultimediaresources.ThissetofprinciplesisreferredtoasMPEGURIFragmentIdentifierFramework(Figure1)andisspecifiedinClause4.Secondly,thisInternationalStandardsdefinesasetofnormativepointerschemestobeusedinthecontextoftheMPEGURIFragmentIdentifierFramework.ThesepointerschemesarespecifiedinClause5.Finally,Clause6providesasetoftoolsforrepresentingLogicalModelsforvarioustypesofmedia,inordertoallowtheaddressingoffragmentsofcontent.ThisInternationalStandardsalsoprovidesillustrative(non-normative)examples.1.3RelationshipwiththeMPEG-21FrameworkThetoolsspecifiedinthispartofISO/IEC21000allowidentificationofapartofaresourcebyprovidingaformatforreferencingthepartusingaFragmentIdentifier.TheFragmentIdentifiersdefinedinthisInternationalStandardsaredistinctfromtheDigitalItemIdentifiersspecifiedinISO/IEC21000-3foridentifyingthe“fundamentalunitsoftrade”withintheMPEG-21MultimediaFramework(i.e.DigitalItems).
