【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversbarecompactroundstrandedconductorsmadefromuncoatedcopperwiresofasingleinputwire(SIW)diameterforgeneraluseincoveredorinsulatedelectricalwiresorcables.Theseconductorsshallbeconstructedwithoneormorelayersofhelicallylaidcompactedwires(ExplanatoryNote1,Note2,andNote3).1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesineachsystemarenotexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththespecification.1.2.1Fordensity,resistivityandtemperature,thevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
